1. Who We Are

Threadmation ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered content scheduling service that helps creators and businesses automate their posts on Meta Threads. Our service is operated independently and is not affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

• Email address (collected when you sign up via Google OAuth or email/password)
• Name or display name from your Google account (if using Google sign-in)

Threads Connection

• Threads user ID and username (collected when you connect your Threads account)
• Threads access token and refresh token (stored to publish posts on your behalf)
• Token expiration date

We never read your followers, existing posts, direct messages, or any other Threads data beyond what is required to publish the posts you schedule.

Content You Create

• Prompt templates you write and save
• AI-generated thread content
• Scheduled posts and their thread children

Usage Data

• Number of AI generations and scheduled posts per billing period (for quota enforcement)
• Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the service: authenticate your account, generate AI content using your prompts, schedule and publish posts to your Threads account.
• To enforce plan limits: track monthly usage of AI generations and scheduled posts against your subscription tier.
• To process payments: pass your email and name to our payment processor (Midtrans) when you subscribe to a paid plan.
• To send service notifications: account confirmations, subscription receipts, and important service updates. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
• To improve the service: aggregated, anonymised usage data helps us understand how features are used.

5. Data Retention

• Account and content data is retained for as long as your account is active.
• If you delete your account, all personal data including Threads tokens, templates, scheduled posts, and usage records is permanently deleted within 30 days.
• Published post content on Threads is governed by Meta's policies and is not deleted by us.
• Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: update inaccurate information through your account settings.
• Deletion: delete your account at any time from the Settings page. This removes all your data from our systems.
• Disconnect Threads: revoke our access to your Threads account at any time from Settings → Threads Account.
• Portability: request an export of your content (templates, generated posts) by emailing us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage for Threads access tokens, and Row-Level Security in our database so users can only access their own data. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and local storage only for authentication (maintaining your login session via Supabase). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children

Threadmation is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us for immediate removal.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
